Commentator Spot: Honestly, I don’t care who or what organization is asking questions *as long as they are!* The ambulance farce has gone on far too long. The service needs to be returned to the SFD stat. Editor: Spot is spot on! The price was increased after LifeNet was selected as the new ambulance provider when pricing was part of the selection process for selecting the provider.
Commentator Rover: In fact the price was raised from the $250 range for a short ride charged by the Stillwater Fire Department to a whopping $790 fee which was the LifeNet low bid, then the Trust Authorities requested they raise the basic fee to abotu $1090!!! So much for their fiduciary responsibility to the public.
